Didn’t matter given that it was in a Vancouver riding. But I later realized it was just my own frugality wanting an excuse
I used to believe that health care was better left to the capitalist open market to run. I now believe a universal program, while still horribly flawed, is a superior system.
To piggy back on Andrew’s comment, I used to feel unbending in most of my libertarian views. While I still espouse most in spirit, I see areas where it simply falls apart at the upper stages of wealth and power.
Though the same can be said of the polar opposite side of the spectrum.
I think there is a common young libertarian to older liberal/socialist pipeline amongst people who spent a bunch of their youth making money playing an online card game.
I used to believe Ayn Rand was a genius who had more or less solved philosophy, economics, etc.
I did not read Atlas Shrugged or The Fountainhead, but I definitely believed she was right about everything for a period of time.

Oh I had definitely grown out of Objectivism by the time I discovered online poker (~20 years old).
As with most subject matter for which I have observed, Andrew is ahead of the curve.
