I cancelled my PokerGO sub last year as the mixed games they were scheduling were paltry (and this year is infinitely worse). At least last year they streamed a day of the $10k SD at short notice(sadly not the epic HU the following day). Also a short notice LO8 FT where Negreanu was on (that wasn't great, comms didn't really know the game IIRC)
II think if they want to attract more players they should show the $10k mixed games and say "this is X, you might not know them but they are incredible at this cool game, this is why, come play the $1500 version of it next year," rather than only showing it if an established big name gets there.
I think Hellmuth actually did make the SD FT and they were going to stream but it sounds like they fucked Chris Vitch about, which is a shame. Watching streams on PokerGo years ago sparked my interest in mixed games and I'm not sure I could tell you who I was watching (I appreciate I'm in a minority with what I want from poker coverage/streams and funnily enough I am more likely to watch a big NLH table depending on the names).
I remember watching the ESPN WSOP coverage that had mixed game coverage. I think it's a good change of pace and good for the long term health of poker, but I understand why streamers are a little more bottom line oriented and just stream the most popular stuff.
