When I watched the hand, it reminded me of oldschool #POTD1.
On a dynamic turn, that makes it less likely that IP has a bluff, because many hands improved, and a dry river, it's easy for BU to overbluff. That's the FIRST LESSON I learned from POTD that's integrated in my poker soul forever.
Without knowing what you'll write about the hand, especially with showdown value and heavy ICM it's a disaster bluff from a theoretical standpoint, at least that's my guess.
I love to read the POTD and be wrong about my conclusions, or at least to differ with you - always new insights to gather.
I always find the turn shoves pretty interesting as IP, as I struggle a little bit with facing frequent BB-c/r in the current meta.
Do you think from an exploitative standpoint BB x/c K3 in your games on the river instead of just shoving themselves (also with the given ICM dynamic)?
And is it so unlikely that BB c/r hand like 32s and barrels turn to have enough bluffs when another heart fills and then decides to give it up?
Ben is really the goat. His "punts" are one pip too wide opens.
Great post
