Hey Sam,

I was wondering for some days now what the correct, generic response is, especially in ICM, when someone does put in to much money postflop - With VALUE AND BLUFFS.

Let's say we suspect Addamo to bluff and value bet to much on this Ah boards and we would have a 3rd player with average stack still on the table.

Is the correct exploit for such an ICM-Punt (besides already starting to call Preflop tighter) that we overfold Turn and then call with almost everything on river?

Still doing my review of the first #50 POTD to really get all the gems out of your posts.

Cheers and thank u in advance as always!

I think playing tighter and trappier at earlier nodes works, but you also want to call more linearly on the river. In a hand like this that would mean calling the river with top pair more often and never two pair, but folding hands like Kd9x more often.

You mean never fold 2p I guess.

Thanks a lot, I don't take it for granted that you answer every question, especially because this are "old posts!
