Erik's range is so narrow and specific preflop that a lot of our cbet strategy depends on the exact ranks on board. King high boards get a lot of small bet from us because Erik doesn't have a lot of Kx since he rejams suited kings and AK a lot of the time preflop. J8x is a pretty bad board for us because Erik should have a lot of AJs/AJo/KJo/88. When we bet on this board it is infrequent and polar. The types of boards we bet small and frequently on are boards where we have an equity advantage and a nuts advantage. Another example of a sneaky good board for us are boards were offsuit broadways we have, but Erik doesn't have makes straights. Boards like 987 or KJ9 because we open raise JTo and QTo, but Erik doesn't flat them.
This comment, on itself, was very helpful! Makes it easier for me to read the board (and the situation) better and therefore, create an appropriate c-bet strategy <3
Checking the turn is definitely a reasonable play. My concern was that if I checked, I might need to fold a bet, but sometimes you have to check fold a flush draw. Especially on a board this wet.

Besides the poker masterclass, you are also great with words!
Thank you for the kind words and based on likes/replies being my number #1 fan
Nice hand! Would you consider c-betting flop smaller, like b25 or b30? For example on dry flops like K72r when flop is a little better for us?
